I am a recent Fine Art graduate from Sir John Cass Dept. of Art, Media and Design at LMU. My interests include genetics, ecosystems and artificial life; phonemes, graphemes and meme theory; complexity theory and emergent properties of systems; the ways in which different parts of an open system interact with each other and with parts of neighbouring systems.
Recent projects include Now They Are Surrounded: Reconfigured - an interactive screen-based work, made in collaboration with Art & language and Chris Smith, PgUp - a mixed reality performance art event held simultaneously in Second Life and Notice Gallery, Deptford and ambient_light - a programmed ecosystem recently exhibited in London and Colchester as part of the Nine Artists group exhibition, Down to Earth.
I am currently employed as digital media coordinator for Sir John Cass and am also working on product design for Myrl - a Creative Commons project in Second Life.
Born in Birmingham in 1969, I grew up in Essex and now live in South London.
